In 2018, the renewal project requested to design the old social facility of the Istanbul Hunting and Shooting Club in Istinye, which already exists and has been under-capacity. The main hall included in the building program became the main focus of our design, which is intended to be used both as the meeting place of the committee and as a social space in the absence of the committee for the activities such as gathering and watching sports competitions.

In the 2000 m² building consisting of 2 floors, we decided to locate the hall on the upper floor, where the entrance is from the top, in a direction dominating the view due to the structural need. The main rectangular structure, where the hall is located, is defined by a second stone mass extending towards the garden and slightly opening from it. This opening, which can also be read from the upper level, where the entrance is located, adds a rock garden to the restaurant under the hall, increasing the diversity and the amount of daylight in the space.

The building spreading on the side hosts the administration, wet areas, club locker rooms, a game room, and a cafeteria on the garden floor integrating with the outside. In addition, it extends towards the road with its eaves on the upper level so that it welcomes the guests and provides orientation.

As facade material selection, gray-white masonry stone, exposed concrete, and raw wood blocks were preferred, which is likely to create a simple-solid but warm environment. The open sitting area located on the lower level and the outer terraces and bridges, which cast a shadow on the grass garden and cut the silhouette of the building like a line, are repeated inside to open some parts of the ground and first floors to each other.

In interior architectural design, the same color palette and materials were carried inside due to the continuity of interior-exterior design. Following the objectives of the employers to make the center an area of attraction for the young generation and to increase the number of participants, the colors dark, red and naphtha green (fabric, plant, accessories, etc.) were used in complementary elements and infrequently as covering material since they have an invigorating effect.

Porcelain ceramic, which has black-like color and a rock-like appearance, has turned into a rock garden in the landscape, especially in the inner courtyard. In this space, a water element flowing from the 1st floor, where the main entrance is, to the basement floor, is stylized by the formal arrangement of stalactite plants and stones. Subsequent to the decision of utilizing green abundantly in the interior, plants in differing forms and qualities were used sometimes inside of the furniture, sometimes on the walls, or the stalactites.
