The complex, including shops, offices, and one-plus-one apartments, designed on a field of three parcels enclosed by rugged cliffs in Konacık located on the Yalıkavak-Bodrum road, has a total construction area of 12000 m².
It was a demanding yet satisfying experience to assemble a project on an extended, narrow and steeply inclined land. Contrary to the elongated front mass housing the shops in the front and sitting smoothly on the road grade, the cube and rectangular prism-shaped offices and residential blocks, placed on the rocky back land, were adapted to the area with the precision of a tailor. Since we did not have a shape contour gauge duplicator (see figure 1.), we drew 24 cross-sections and placed our masses on the field accordingly.

To soften the structure, all of the façades, all of the cavities, all of the niches, and all of the courtyards were planted in such a dense and varied way so that they are likely to rival the hanging gardens of Babylon. In addition, while the masses are rising, instead of filled facades, we have canalized to a design lightened and consists of balconies with the full-empty effect to reduce the mass effect of the buildings.
Furthermore, as an attempt at climate control, overheating has been averted with deep eaves, and the front line pulled behind the solid-empty cube stone facade. Red Iranian travertine was employed predominantly in the entire building complex due to its contrast impact with the basement stone and burnt pine cladding.
